OMG! Huge HUGE news! "All My Children" is getting a double dose of star power. Eden Riegel, who played the beloved Bianca Montgomery from 2000-2005 (with appearances in 2006 and 2007), is coming back to the show. What's better? She's bringing along actress Tamara Braun, best known for her work as Carly on "General Hospital" and recently as Ava on "Days of Our Lives."

Let's get to Eden first. She's been busy in Paris, getting a new girlfriend. And her name is Reese Williams, played by none other than Tamara Braun. Whoa! Bianca's got a hot girlfriend! Score, Bianca. Anyway, Reese is a confident and successful architect who Bianca has been shacking up with in Paris (she doesn't have an accent, don't worry).

So our minds are spinning. What about Zoe, the transgender rock star Bianca was getting close with (in her last appearance, Binks mentioned they drifted apart)? What about Maggie? Did she and Bianca ever reconcile (Elizabeth Hendrickson, Maggie's portrayer, is currently raising hell on "The Young and the Restless")? Guess not, but is there a story there?

More importantly, how are Kendall (Alicia Minshew) and Erica (Susan Lucci) going to handle Reese? We're guessing there's going to be some conflict, mostly because Tamara is such a strong actress. Which basically means we're buying the super glue to stick ourselves to the couch now.

Bianca first airs on October 17. Reese will follow on October 30.

Oh, yeah, we forgot to mention why they are coming to town. More on that tomorrow. It's amazing and will change "All My Children" forever. You know, nothing big.

Fan favorite Tamara Braun, who played GH's Carly from 2001-2005, has joined the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES in the role of Ava, a woman from Steve's past. She will first air February 8. "She sounds very layered and complicated and it seems like there's a lot to sink my teeth into," she tells Digest of her new role.

I feel like I should be devastated but I'm not. I'm surprised they waited this long and that Jax doesn't walk in on them in the middle of it. How sad is it that my expectations are so low?

Anyway, I'm firmly on the Free Jax train because Carly is a lost cause. I've had a love/hate relationship with Carly ever since Tamara Braun left the role, but I started liking Carly again when they first started doing Carly/Jax. I thought the couple had potential and I loved their chemistry. Now I want Jax away from Carly and I don't mind if it means he's alone without a love interest. I want Jax to fall in love with a woman who will love him as much as he loves her, and I've accepted that Carly isn't that woman. It's a shame because I really did love them but Carly's actions with Sonny prove that Sonny is the man she truly loves and I accept it. I will still miss Caly & Jax. They were my favorite couple during the Nikolas & Emily dry spell, but I'll fondly remember all of the good times.

Of course I reserve the right to completely change my mind the first time I see Laura and Ingo in scenes together. Lingo are like crack. They're too damn good to resist. ::sigh::

Tamara Braun's movie Little Chenier debuts on ~~November 2, 2006 at AFM in Santa Monica on November 2, at 5:00 p.m.~~ Friday October 20th at 9.45pm at the Austin Film Festival, and again on Tuesday October 24th at 7.00pm. You can see a slideshow of movie stills at the festival's official website.

Why is is that I can watch an episode of General Hospital without being offended by anything, but then go onto a message board and see everyone up in arms over something that I thought was funny?

Nah, it's them.

On other fronts, I am so tired of the rain. It's been raining non stop since Tuesday with no end in sight at least until next Thursday. I feel like building an ark and sailing away.

I'm still in shock over Chris being booted off of AI last Wednesday. I can't say I was a big Chris fan because I wasn't, but I was still shocked.

I have five episodes of CSI: Miami, two of CSI, two of House and one of Lost still saved to TiVo with no idea when I'll get around to watching them.

according to a March 9th news article at a website dedicated to Jonathon Schaech, it looks like something like that would be in the works.

In other recent Tamara news, she appeared on the March 21st episode of Soap Net's 'Soap Talk' looking very relaxed, happy, and as gorgeous as ever.

There's never anything to do. There's nothing on TV. None of my friends want to go out, not even to grab a bite to eat. All of the regular message boards I visit are slow with no one around posting anything new. I'm all caught up on everything saved on my TiVo and I watched the last of my Netflix movies. I can't even go to the mall just to get out of the house because it closed almost an hour ago.

Sundays suck.

A month ago I couldn't stand the site of General Hospital's Carly Benson "Roberts" Quartermaine Corinthos Alcazar Corinthos, but here I am today thoroughly enjoying her scenes with Jasper "Jax" Jacks.

Oh I know it won't be long before it all goes to hell but until that happens I'm loving the chemistry between Ingo Rademacher and Laura Wright, and I'll see where the story between their characters go, even if it rushed and revolves around them "napping" Nikolas Cassadine's son grrrrrrrrrrrr

My Aunt will be happy that I'm not hating on her favorite girl :)

I’ve been working as a legal admin assistant since graduation, and about a year ago due to staff shortages I started helping out the paralegals with a lot of their work. During my performance appraisal yesterday they offered me a newly created position of Senior Legal Admin & Paralegal. It’s a lofty title, but it’s really an entry level paralegal but I’ll also be supervising three of the admin assistants in the department. It comes with a nice pay increase, and the biggest difference is that I’ll have my own cases and assignments instead of just supporting the other paralegals. They offer tuition reimbursement, so if I do decide to go back to grad school or law school, they’ll cover it 100%.

So that’s my news

So in addition to the upcoming 'Freddie' episodes, Tamara booked a role on the Fox drama 'House'. No air date yet but it's all great exposure for her.

So much for all of the naysayers who predicted she'd never work again after she left GH.

I don't know the details, but I read that Dillon gets sick and asks Georgie to marry him. Tracy of course is not pleased and does everything she can to stop the wedding. I think Dillon must get very delirious because there are spoiler pics for next week that have Dillon dreaming about the wedding.

It's still a work in progress and the actor bios aren't up yet, but there are some cast photos and other photos in the gallery.

After viewing the trailer the movie looks great. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and it looks like a good story. I can't wait to hear when it will be released.

I'm so happy and excited for Tamara and I hope she reveals some details about the film during her personal appearance on 2/18.

I miss loving General Hospital

My favorite female character on General Hospital has become my most hated female character, and my favorite male character on General Hospital has become the most boring.

Why have Guza and Pratt forsaken me?

I used to love Carly. I loved her with Sarah Brown and Tamara Braun.

I fell in love with Lorenzo Alcazar because of Carly, and I fell hard for Carly & Lorenzo because of Tamara and Ted's chemistry. I hung in there with Jennifer Bransford and was willing to give it another whirl with Laura Wright until she actually arrived and it became obvious very quickly that it was time to give up on that couple for good, but hold onto my treasured Carlo v.1 memories.

So I did. I am finally over Carly because of her continued obsession with Sonny (and Laura Wright's acting), and I'm finally over Carly & Lorenzo because of Carly's continued obsession with Sonny (and Laura Wright's acting). Do you see a pattern here? Yep, Carly's continued obsession with Sonny.

So here I am hoping for a story for Ted King and his character Lorenzo, but dreading the idea of his next romantic pairing on General Hospital.

Don't get me wrong, I'm beyond thrilled that Lorenzo is moving on from Carly, and I couldn't be more happy for Ted and Lorenzo because it looks like the writers are finally going to invest in a storyline and romance for him (at least this week). BUT, it's with the most boring female character in the fictional city of Port Charles, NY, Skye Quartermaine (or whatever she's calling herself these days).

The funny thing is that I don't hate Skye and I've tried to enjoy Lorenzo with her, but no matter how hard I try I just can't get into them and it's because of Skye -- she doesn't interest me, and her pending relationship with Lorenzo hasn't changed my feelings.

I wish I could get excited about them and anticipate what their next scenes will be. I wish I could focus on the shallow and concentrate on the next time Lorenzo will act flirty and take his shirt off, but I can't. Lorenzo and Skye don't interest or excite me. The only thing they do is bore me.

My days with GH are numbered even if I do kinda like Sonny & Emily a little bit, but I'll save my jumbled thoughts on that topic for another entry.

Daily Soap Opera Ramblings

I've been home all week with bad cold and little to do except flip from one soap opera to another.

AMC

I get so much joy watching Zach Slater and Kendall Hart together. I love JR but wanted to slap her for trying to squash Kendall's high. Back off buddy -- woman is love and happy to boot. It doesn't happen often so leave her alone.

I think I need an intervention because I'm really enjoying Baby & JR. How is that possible? I loathe Babe with the intensity of 10,000 suns but I sort of like her with JR. I need help.

I am so over John McBain and his pity party. Wake me when the guy isn't so morose.

Blair Kramer is on my last nerve. I just read some upcoming spoilers Current spoilers say she's going to turn her back on Todd when she believes that he did kill Margaret. Later on someone close to Todd will betray him. Gee, I wonder who that could be? and I am so tired of her and her wishy washy ways.

Nash better be the daddy of Tessica's baby or I'm going to be very upset. Useless father of the year doesn't need another child he can abandon.

Sonny & Emily are all kinds of wrong but I weirdly find them sort of intriguing.

Dusty kicking out Meg was the highlight of my ATWT week. "Get. Out!" No sweeter words were ever heard. Maybe now Meg will no longer look like a pathetic idiot.

Dusty & Jennifer are too sweet. Dusty is not sweet. Their sweetness makes my teeth hurt. I hope get rid of the sugar soon.

Emily annoys me. Emily's wailing after shooting Paul made me want to shoot myself.

Will & Gwen have been MIA and I miss them.

Mike Kasnoff's cousin is an irritating pretty boy. I can tell it won't be long before he's my least liked character on the canvas.

Day 2 of 2006 and yes, I'm still obsessed with the wretched white stuff otherwise known as snow. Please, someone, anyone, make it stop. After shoveling the driveway and cleaning off the car, there's more of that nasty stuff on the way today, tomorrow and every day this week except for Wednesday.

I think I'll watch clips of Friday's Zach & Kendall scenes to make me feel better. I love me some Zach & Kendall.

I know I'm probably in the minority about it, but I found it BORING.

Besides the wardrobe choices, I hated the whole thing. It's New Year's Eve. Everyone should have been happy and celebrating and for once having fun.

Teens - When Dillon started ranted at Georgie I started hitting the FF button. I used to like them but now Dillon is on my last nerve. His reaction to Lucas being gay was over the top.

Jesse/Maxie - I know they were on. I remember seeing them while FF past their scenes. They are the most boring of the younger set.

Lucky/Lucky - I love them, but why weren't they at Carly's party? Snow ball fights are fun, but come on? These two should have been out enjoying a party.

Ms. Corinthos - There isn't enough time in the day to say what I want to say about her, so I'll just say it's good to see that she's still hung up on Sonny despite all of her claims to the contrary.

Lorenzo - What will it take for him to get over Carly? Come on buddy. She's just not that into you?

Jason/Sam - They went to Carly's party because???? Oh yes, so Sam could scream at Alexis.

Ric/Alexis - Why were they at Metro Court? Oh yes, so Alexis could get screamed at by Sam and Carly.

Memo to writers:

Dear Chuck and Bob. The first few times you had Sam and Carly go off on Alexis were fine. But repeating the same speech hourly is beating a dead horse over the head and I'm starting to loose interest in both women's perspectives and Alexis defense. Moderation is the key.

Quartermaines - They have become caricatures and I no longer find their bickering humorous.

Jax - He's crossed over into pathetic Lorenzo territory. You're better that that man.

Courtney - Fickle, fickle, fickle.

Nikolas/Emily - What was the purpose of their scenes? So they could wish each other a good life, again? Don't get me wrong I enjoy the scenes they share together because I like the actors and think they have great chemistry, but I wish they didn't feel so repetitive. I also wish the writers would consider reuniting them soon because it's obvious they are still in love with each other.

I hated the whole episode. Characters I normally loved wore on my last nerve.

Chuck and Bob really know how to take the fun out of a celebration.
